    B.J. Hails Museum of Natural History
    Located at the Brandon University, this natural history museum is a showcase of Canadian birds, mammals, geology and plants. With over 500 specimens, the museum is sure to spark anyone's interest in Canada's natural heritage. The museum is open from Monday to Friday or by appointment and admission is free.

    Chapman Museum

    Royal Canadian Artillery Museum
    The Royal Canadian Artillery Museum features the largest collection of artillery related artifacts in Canada. It is home to Gregg Canadian Collection of CMVx, Warsaw pact, US and British self-propelled weapons and many Canadian Forces vehicles. Diaries and other war memorabilia, such as the original Roll Book for "B" Battery 1871, are also displayed.

    Minnedosa Heritage Village
    This heritage museum displays restored buildings that depict the lives of Manitoba pioneers. The newest addition is the octagon agricultural display building. Other structures include the Minnedosa Hydro Building, the Manitoba Electrical Power Plant, a trappers cabin and many more. Open for tours from May to October, by appointment.

    Beautiful Plains Museum
    This museum is located in the former CN station, which was declared a historic site in 1998. Manitoba heritage is showcased with three floors of artifacts. Other displays include a barber shop, children's room, jewellery store and a military room. Open from May long weekend to September long weekend.

    Police and Pioneer Museum
    This museum is located in Lakeview Park and pays homage to the North West Mounted Police by depicting the Shoal Lake barracks that were established in 1875. The town's tourist information centre is also located on the premises. The Police and Pioneer Museum is open daily in July and August.

    Antler River Historical Society Museum
    This museum replaced the town's public elementary school in 1972, as a result of a collective effort by Melita's volunteers. Some of the museum's displays include a historical military room, fashions of yesterday, a school room and an art room. Open from July to August, Tuesday to Sunday, or by appointment.

    Pinewood Museum & Riding Mountain Historical Society
    Daily tours of this facility are available during the summer months of July and August. This history of the area, including dances, the old chalet, golf history and Grey Owl, are featured. Posters and specially created cookbooks by the historical society are available for sale.

    Manitoba Antique Automobile Museum

    Late local farmer Ike Clarkson developed the Manitoba Antique Auto Museum during the 1960s out of his undying passion for vehicles. With a prestigious collection of Fords, Cadillacs, Overlands and Oldsmobile's from as early as 1902, this exhibit allows visitors a unique look into the heyday of automobile manufacturing.

    Keystone Pioneer Museum
    This museum is open from May to September and has three historic buildings on-site. The Elaschuk House contains pioneer artifacts. The Dunlop Cabin is a pioneer log cabin that exhibits the pioneer lifestyle. Makaroff United Church is a historic building built in 1910. Upon request, a sawmill in operation or baking in a clay oven can be demonstrated.

    Waskada Museum
    Located in the former Royal Bank and Anglican Church buildings, this museum has displayed antique artifacts since 1970. Pioneer household items, vintage tractors and and a mounted whooping crane circa 1906 are among the items at the Waskada Museum. Open from June to August, with student discounts.
