Roblin Parks & Gardens
Dedicated to the memory of Dr. Frank Skinner, an important Manitoba horticulturalist, this arboretum features an educational trail and a garden. The self-guided trails provide information on Manitoba's plant species. The Heritage Garden displays plants introduced to the prairies by Dr. Sinner himself.
Asessippi Provincial Park is situated at the southern end of Lake of the Prairies near Russell and Roblin, Manitoba. The park is also surrounded by the Assiniboine and Shell Rivers, making the park a popular destination for water activities. The Ancient Valley Trail, a 3-mi (1.9-km) hiking loop, is one of many hiking trails and offers a self-guided, interpretive hike of the park's glacial features. Visitors can stay at the park's campground or in one of its yurts.
