    Hapnot Lake Wildlife Sanctuary
    Hundreds of indigenous waterfowl make a home on this lake, close to down town Flin Flon. A picnic area and wishing wells are located on-site. Feeding the ducks is encouraged.

    Neighbours of the North Park
    This park contains flowers crafted entirely from metal, to represent each province and territory in Canada. Local resident John Evans designed and built the park, with funding from the Flin Flon and District Chamber of Commerce.

    Wapusk National Park

    Wapusk (the Cree word for "white bear") National Park is Canada’s 7th largest national parks. Filled with tundra and sub artic terrain, the park also hosts one of the world’s largest known polar bear maternity denning areas. Getting to the park is not easy, and may require the assistance of an authorized commercial tour operator.

    Paint Lake Provincial Park
    Paint Lake Provincial Park is situated in the Canadian boreal forest near Thompson. Paint Lake with its heaps of islands is the centerpieces for this natural attraction. Camping, swimming, and other water activities can be enjoyed here during the summer months. Snowshoeing here during the winter is a great way to take in the beauty of snow covered Northern Manitoba's barren wilderness.

    Pisew Falls Provincial Park
    Here is located the highest waterfall accessible by road in Manitoba. The Glass River falls 13 m (43 ft) and passes into a gaping gorge. Just further south is Kwasitchewan Falls, Manitoba's highest waterfall.

    Bakers Narrows Provincial Park
    Bakers Narrows is located on 145 hectares of Precambrian boreal forest, on the tranquil shores of Lake Athapapaskow. A viewing tower provides staggering sights of the entire park. The beach is perfect for swimming and water sports, with playground equipment nearby. The park is ideal for campers, with a back country area, canoing and hiking.
