Wapusk (the Cree word for "white bear") National Park is Canada’s 7th largest national parks. Filled with tundra and sub artic terrain, the park also hosts one of the world’s largest known polar bear maternity denning areas. Bakers Narrows Provincial Park Bakers Narrows is located on 145 hectares of Precambrian boreal forest, on the tranquil shores of Lake Athapapaskow. A viewing tower provides staggering sights of the entire park. The beach is perfect for swimming and water sports, with playground equipment nearby.
