Great Woods Park covers 48.5 ha (120 acres) of forest-covered land in south-eastern Manitoba. Visitors can enjoy self-guided nature walks and spend time on the beach that lies alongside the Brokenhead River. Camping is available in the park and both the Prairie Edge Bluegrass Festival and the Great Woods Music Festival are held here each summer.

A Fun, educational, interactive and interpretive petting Zoo suitable for any age group. Learn about and experience the outdoor life and meet and get to know all of the feathered and furry friends. Walk the gardens, sit awhile, in a large picnic and play area with BBQ rentals available. Visit the Willow Porch Gift Shop/ Concession with local hand made crafts. Reservations for groups, clubs, parties, tours, family reunions, events and any other occasion. Open to the public May 1 to October.
