With a mission to support and promote home-grown Manitoban music, the Back 40 Festival offers patrons a day of fun and tunes by artists from across the province. Performances occur on the workshop and main stages, and there are also a number of activities for kids, food vendors and an arts and crafts market onsite.

Morden has an annual Corn & Apple Festival every last weekend of August which highlights local artists, businesses, craftsmen and musical talent. Posers Gallery will be part of these celebrations exhibiting local artist Neil Fehr with his "InnerScape" Exhibit. This Exhibit will display his 10 years of perfecting a watercolour technique. Gail Sawatzky will exhibit her encaustic paintings as well.

The wholesome family event maintains "free" as the key word in its advertising with complimentary corn on the cob, apple cider, stage entertainment, children's activities, parade and parking. Other attractions include the Wonder Shows Midway, Queen Pageant, Vintage Car/Harley Davidson Show and Shine, Mud Racing, Barbecue Championship, petting zoo, street vendors and top-name performers like Colin James, Lou Gramm and Prairie Oyster and Randy Bachman.
